Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade Money Saving Slow Cooking

Chile Chicken Chowder

Cook time: 3 to 4 hours (High)
Makes 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 lb. chicken tenders, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1-1/2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1-1/2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 can (14.75-oz.) cream-style corn
  • 1 can (10.75-oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup, Campbell’s®
  • 1 can (7-oz.) diced mild green chile peppers
  • 1/2 cup frozen chopped onions
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Directions

In a 4-quart slow cooker, stir together chicken, potatoes, chicken broth, corn, chicken soup, chile peppers, onions, garlic and cumin until combined.

Cover and cook on high heat setting for 3 to 4 hours.

Stir in half and half. Spoon into soup bowls. Sprinkle with cilantro (optional).
